Health bar bug just almost cost me a ranked game

So I went to my lane and I was thinking to myself something is not right here the graphics look weird, then wukong came into lane and I noticed straight away his health bar was missing I looked down at my health bar and it didn't look right the health bar above my champion was also missing. He chunked me out to 200HP before I released really what was going on relog fixed it but it cost me my early game I managed to stall my lane and not die and eventually I got online and ended the game splitt pushing but it was not a nice bug to encounter for the first time In ranked I will be on the look out for this bug again so I can relog instantly and fix the problem.

To recap though Health bar blacked out on the skillbar Enemy healthbar completely missing my healthbar above champion completely missing Graphics looked very strange

Do note that the Rio solution to this does not enable you to fix this in-game and so you will most likely lose. They also provide no guidance on how to avoid this, but only a temporary fix.

The cause of this bug is caused by "alt-tabbing" during the loading screen. In other words, you switched to a different window while you are still loading into the game. It has a chance to cause the bug you experienced. This has been the case with all the cases I've seen and experienced.

To avoid this 100% as far as I know, just wait until the game actually starts.

To fix this, you'll have to re-enter the game by exiting out.

This is not accurate. Restarting the client does not work in all cases, even when all processes are fixed. This has been a bug for years and they have not fixed it. This is not due to "alt-tabbing" except insofar as Riot has a bug in their game.

Do not that there is zero documentation recommending this. They could post this in their tutorial as a way to avoid a bug known for several years if this was indeed the solution. Full repair intiation does not fix it either always.

Issue that needs to be fixed for sure.

But lets be clear if your so unaware of whats right in front of you when you load into game that you dont see health bars on the people standing next to you and dont restart before minions spawn then.

You have horrible awareness and are probably the reason your teams are losing games.
your computer doenst meet minimum spec requirements to reload in time and you should not be playing anyway.

Hope they do get it fixed though.

Mild annoyance but shouldn't effect anyone thats awake.

Well I didn't notice it till I did and that was when minions hit the lane nothing to with my computer I just wasn't paying attention at this point in the game what so ever because I didn't think I had to, my team was safe nobody was invading so I was using my other monitor to read an article. If you don't know about a bug how can you be aware of it? I did at a glance think to myself it looks weird but I didn't fully notice it till i was forced to.

I hear ya it needs to be fixed for sure. But all the same.

When you spawn into game the match has started and you should be paying attention. Not doing other things. Also i would think if you play more then 3 games a week seeing an issue like this would be easy.

For sure needs to be fixed but dont think its anyone's fault but the players if they lose a game over this.
