Exalted Kayle(level 16) is such a giant "Fuck You" to the whole community

Note about what I meant before reading:

  1. Kayle is up at PBE.

  2. Kayle passive is her getting some bonuses after every specific level she leveled up.

  3. In early levels, whenever Kayle attacks for a few seconds, she becomes "Exalted", meaning her AA becomes ranged.

  4. At level 6, her Exalted AA has splash damage in a cone.

Now the main argument....

#5) At level 16, her Exalted splash damage deals TRUE DAMAGE.

I honestly don't understand why Riot would still dare to choose to go this path, after every post regarding the game having way too many access to the "so-called unique" True Damage, such as Conqueror. Were they even listening to us to begin with? I am definitely not going to get excited when I can predict seeing a fed enemy Kayle with item 3146 item 3124 hammering the right-click at my team while their 30+ minutes worth of built-up resistance means nothing.

So is there any argument in this post besides "REEE TRUE DAMAGE"?

Because she's meant to be a fucking hypercarry. Hypercarries are meant to, in literally every instance, kill tanks. This is done with %hp damage and/or true damage, with only a few having neither (typically, however, they have some variant - Yasuo gains 50% armor pen, for example).

Kayle before shredded armor and MR. Kayle now no longer has armor and MR shred. Ergo she has to have something else to make her actually fucking useful against a tank.

Jinx and Tristana have % HP damage? Huh.

Edit: To add meat and facilitate discussion to my post I wonder if Riot included it as a counter to Adaptive helm

jinx has a high amount of sustained damage in minigun and aoe damage the splashes nearby targets(which CAN lead to full team crits) and they have a lot of range no to mention her resets tower shred and aoe execution ult trist has a crazy AS steroid on her Q and pretty nasty range late game

both of them scale pretty well and can kill just about any champ when allowed to scale up so id still consider them hyper carries but the shred and % hp comments aren't necessarily accurate although they can help.

like jhin excels at dealing damage to low armor/low health targets and dude to having to ration his auto attacks doesn't get to just constantly crank out DPS with impunity the way a vayne/cait/jinx/trist would

just my thoughts not looking to put anyone down ;D

And the Adaptive helm addition would be nice though.

Jinx and Trist are the only real exceptions, due to their huge effective range and AoE damage.

She still has the shred, it's just dependant on her hitting a skillshot now.

And whereas her passive previously shredded resistances up to 15%, I'd assume that, since it's now dependant on hitting a skillshot, that it will shred for much more.

Because true damage itself isn't a problem. 10 true damage and 20 physical damage do the same thing against a 100 armor target. Conqueror is only a problem when it is given to a champion who was designed to be hard countered by armor.
