Banning players who openly say they are going to troll in select

Can Riot please add this option? I swear I always end up dodging cause I don't want to deal with this one prick in select who decides trolling is much better then playing the actual game because they didn't get the lane they wanted. I mean seriously, don't fricken play ranked games when you know you won't get the lane you want.

I copy the chat and make a ticket. Fairly sure nothing has been done, but I'm just gonna keep doing it.

You can't ban players for something they haven't done bro... just because someone says they are going to troll, doesn't automatically mean they actually would. People on the Internet can lie u know.

Also, are you familiar with a game called "chicken"? Since you just got played.

And please, do not come here to whine about these people since you are the very reason why they are still doing it. When you dodge you give them exactly what they want, hence they continue doing so. And the only way to ban these toxic people, is in the after game lobby.

The real issue with these trolls is that they can only play/only enjoy playing one lane. To enjoy the game at all, they have to get the lane they want. So, they do selfish things like try to get other people to leave queue and troll all game because they know they are going to lose if they don't get their lane.

Not saying it's fair or a good thing to do, but if you look at their options, it's the one that benefits them most, the others being to learn how to play other lanes(harder to do), to dodge queue themselves(meaning they have to wait way longer to play), or to not play ranked(and not get the ego boost of making it to a certain rank, which is the main reason a lot of people play)

Only playing one lane is also the fastest way to gain skill(and thus rank). Since you only have to learn one lane, you(should) have a lot more experience playing that lane than somebody who plays all 5 equally. You'll have a larger champion pool, know the matchups more in depth, etc. so you'll do better. It's also a self perpetuating pattern: once you start playing only one lane, switching to another will set you so far back that you really won't want to.

I think things will get way better when Riot puts in the new Team Builder-like system for ranked draft, where you can pick your lane and be matched accordingly. But that's going to be at least 3 patches away... Until then, you can just rely on end game reports, surrender at 20, or continue to dodge yourself. Not very good options, but better ones are being worked on.
