How do you fight the monster that is darius?

Every time fight darius I get destroyed, I avoid his E, dodge or get on the inner circle of his q, but he still destroys me.

or vs champions who scale up to such high DPS levels later that even with 5 stack he can't compete

There's not some secret like press q left right left right down up up e.

You have to play your champions strengths to take advantage of the enemies weaknesses.

i play maokai into darius ( cuz i main maokai top lane ) and i win the lane id say 85% of the time

only a handful of times where i got straight up beat by a darius... one hurts he was diamond ranked and crushed me hard.

and i know people are gonna reply with BULLSHIT you cant beat darius as maokai blah blah blah its true

played the lane last night... i went 8-5-9 and he went 0-7-6

oh and i didnt build one ap item lol item 3025 item 3053 item 3065 item 3047 item 3190 lost game due to a super stupid fed lucian where 1st twitch didnt know to get a bork on twitch and didnt know how to play twitch

as long as you keep a ms advantage over him Xayah would work. The moment he has flash and you don't, you're probably dead though.

how to beat darius

dont engage with him for too long. constantly disengaging and re-engaging to wear off his passive helps, as well as playing ANYONE WHO CAN KITE. I have found renekton to work decently against a darius, just take W level 1 instead of Q and use it to disengage. once you are lvl 3 at least, e-q-w-e/e-w-q-e combos where you use the second e to disengage help, or even just a simple w-q-e-e combo if you want a more secure escape (provided you hit something with your first e)
