Better Nerf Kassadin
So I tried post-nerf Kassadin in a bot game, and to be honest, his shortened range doesn't feel THAT terrible. I was never a Kassadin player and I know the nerf broke his goddamn legs - it isn't nearly as easy to hop in and get kills, a lot of his big terrain jumps don't work anymore - but his mobility is definitely still in place, and the mana reduction makes it a lot more manageable at high levels. Since I was trying to practice map movement rather than straight-out winning (again, bot game), I found he still functioned pretty well. In fact... kind of familiar...

Except, hold on a moment, let's compare these.
Kassadin's ult: Mana cost 60-960 (depending on how frequently you use it) Cooldown 7/5/3 Range 450 Available at level 6
Nidalee's Pounce (cat form W): Mana cost 0 Cooldown 5 (or 1.5 if you jumped to a Hunted target) Range 375 (or 750 if you jumped to a Hunted target) Available at level 1 (though people usually grab it at 2 or 3)
So Nidalee has almost as much range, ZERO cost (when Kassadin's ult is almost entirely mana-gated), a shorter cooldown pre-11, and she doesn't have to sit around waiting until level 6 to get it.
And yet Kassadin's entire identity and notoriety as a champion is built around this ability that is inferior in many aspects to Nidalee's pounce.
Meanwhile, Nidalee's spears can chunk a tank to half health with one go on a 6-second cooldown.
And now she can jungle.
