Why tf am I being placed with plats in Gold Ranked?
How is this fair if I have to be on an entire team of plats in the 10 person game and I am mid tier gold....

thats rather nice. at the start of the season dyn que matched me around that mmr with mid silvers against mid plats.
it also matched me one game with a 4 man bronze premade, because the enemy team also consisted of a 5 man bronze premade that was carried by 1 high ranked player. i only realized about 10 to 15 minutes into the game by noticing how absolutely horribly bad my opponent was. he didnt really cs, just shoved the lane. he randomly stopped moving and took my poke. he behaved completely erratic. then i slowly noticed that all 4 members on ym team played just the same. they were getting obliterated by the enemy assassin jungler who was carrying them. the enemy also all played champions with invulnerability ults and similar abilities to support the guy.
dyn que is cancer.
I am getting placed with golds/plats in my pre level 30 games and in my placements...
Well that might be on your MMR, in placements if your MMR is high enough, I think even if you lose all 10 you still dont end up in bronze

yes, I am curious where I end up since I am getting placed since I am getting paired up with silvers+, and I am not doing too good on my placements
you can check na.op.gg I think usually when you win your first and second placement you may end up with plats. It happened to me a few months ago when I Was bronze.
Sink or swim. If you wanna be plat, you gotta play like plat
Well if you're being matched with plats, they're either gold mmr or you're plat mmr, and it's fair either way. Most likely a combination of the two.
It does mean you're prone to getting 20+ lp for a win, and lose less than that for losses, so it makes climbing easy.
