Catchup XP?

Hi Guys,

So weird thing happened yesterday. I was playing Talon into Zed, we got first blood on him when he failed to invade (solo....) so he missed the XP from a couple of minions. I didn't leave lane, picked up the xp for every minion, yet he hit level 2 before me, and continued ahead until he died at 6.

My question is how was this possible? He hadn't killed any wards (I checked on the replay) so the only thing I can think of is the catchup xp thing... Any ideas?

Ye and it's only gotten worse and nobody talks about it, i loose over 50% of the games where i win lane and i win over 50% of the games where i loose lane. It's gotten out of hand because im actually loosing lane now with intent to gain a huge lead later. Some games i go 0/4 and gain 2 lvls on my laner at level 13 just because i was behind.
