PSA: Your teammates are not the reason you suck.

Your jungler is not at fault for not being able to take dragon when you've fed the enemy bot lane 7 kills in six minutes and lost your tower. Your support is not at fault for you repeatedly getting annihilated in team fights because you always front line as ADC. Your laners are not at fault for you not warding your own jungle entrances and easily getting counter-jungled. Your midlaner or jungler is not at fault for you getting ganked because you are constantly overextended in top lane. Your ADC is not at fault for leaving you to die when you get caught out trying to ward or roam.

There's this tendency for players to look for somebody to blame, especially when they are playing badly themselves. "Oh no, I'm 0-5 in top lane! Noob jungler doesn't gank! Meanwhile, enemy jungler ganked three times already!" Never mind of course that you are constantly over-extended and thus get ganked by the enemy jungler, or you trade with your abilities on cooldown, or you fight in giant enemy minion waves, or you flashed under tower greeding for a kill, etc.

Sure, you get the games where your teammates are feeding the ever-loving shit out of the enemy team, while you are playing really well. I don't believe that every game is winnable. But it's just as likely that the enemy team gets those players. And with enough games, it becomes a matter of improving enough as a player that you can carry more games like that than you could before.

There's exactly ONE thing in common in 100% of the games you lose, and that thing is YOU.

While it's true more often than people admit, players also shouldn't have to take blame for things that aren't their fault. If that 0-5 top laner blames their jungler for not ganking when they've died to 3 banks, that's their fault. But if they died one time, then are continuously being dove under tower and the jungler won't help them? That's not the top laner's fault. Not every player will get teammates that are good, and some players in lower ranks will continuously have teammates holding them back. "The only common factor is you" is a stupid argument that relies on the belief that everything in matchmaking is fair, which is blatantly untrue.

What I'm finding out today is...... Sometimes it's Normal Cast's Fault. Aparrently I've been playing wrong for some 5 years.... using Normal cast on Champs who even though I thought were really broken on Normal Cast.... are just ...... WTF you're broken on Quick cast...

If those specific scenarios (or ones like them) are the majority of one's experience then I'd have to agree. However, in different circumstances, and for different players, I can't say that's 100% accurate.

I play support main because I like to support - I play a variety of different support champs, too (Janna, Morgana, Leona, Blitzcrank, Zyra, Lux, etc. I have a lot of options); trying to counter pick or not be counter picked: And quite often I see mid or top collapse, lose tower, force the jungle to abandon bot to try and control the damage in top and/or mid, therefore letting bot get ganked to the point where we're forced to sit under turret until things get so bad we abandon bot lane to keep that next mid tower from falling way too soon.

This, and many other similar scenarios also happen quite often, and if it happens often enough, one does get better at carrying as a support... but it's still a team game. And sometimes your team is only as good as your weakest link. Not always, but it happens quite a bit - more often than the OP suggests.

I know I have bad games, and I accept that I may have been (solely, even) responsible for a loss. But when your lane is doing well and you lose due to what can only be described as a "series of unfortunate events" started by another lane messing up badly enough, then seeing something like this only frustrates me more.

I won't disagree that the scenario described in the OP happens often, but I don't think it's as much of a majority as is implied.
