Pls, do make lvl 8 mastery, but coma up with better restriction to achieve it rather than N number of S+. Getting S+ is really not that hard to get

Mastery is a very stupid concept since it means nothing.

I personally don't bother getting Mastery 6 or 7 on any champions. That's how stupid I find it.

Ya fight the system. Such a rebel. Refuse to conform with the sheep. I mean how stupid is a leveling system to show off how well youve done with your favorite champion. People with a mastery 7 on a champ are not automatically better or more seasons than someone with a mastery 5 but man it is so stupid to have that extra depth in a progression system. You are such a smart and elevated human being. Keep fighting the good fight.

As for op, id like to see masteries beyond what we would deem doable, possibly 20. And an idea i'd really like to see is a separation between mastery points and match grade.

i want 8 and then mastery level 9 will have a halo above it. 4 S+ meaning you need 4 S+ THAT DAY. then level 9 is 1M mastery points.

i disagree with the whole S+ thing since s ranks can sometimes be stupid depending on your champ, especially if it's a support, should be determined on how many games, aka mastery points, since that shows dedication to a champ

I both agree and disagree to varying degrees of your statement.

People who had mastery 5 on champs when told they suck, would qoute their "level 5 mastery of the champ."

You had to clarify that they SUCK with them, not that they didnt know what the champ does, and that mastery 5 is obtainable by grinding win or lose on a champ. I like the S requirment to some extent because it shows dedication and skill.

Better idea: if you get A or better in 20 consecutive game with that champ you get mastery level 8 and lose it if you get lower than an A.

Here is my excellent idea.

We need another stretch between the "Needs x number of S to rank up" mastery levels and some more play time levels like 1-5 levels. THEN, when we get the mastery points for levels 8 and 9 should take a lot of time, show some REAL play time with those ranks. Like 300k mastery points on top of what it took to get to level 7 to get to 8, then another 300k for 9. This will keep people from having "mastery" of dozens of champs, and when they flash that mastery 9 you know you're getting some hardcore champ main cause they have over half a million (600k just for levels 8 and 9) mastery points on them. Then we can have something more exotic for level 10.

Thoughts, opinions, excellent idea?
