Please help me understand this LP, MMR etc. stuff... changing LP gains and losses

Here is the situation: I am comfortable in my [WHATEVER_IS_MY_CURRENT_RANK] spot with about 60 LP and an exactly 50% winrate over the past 20 games... I win a game, I gain 19... I lose the next, I lose 19... i win the next, I gain 19... I lose the next, I lose 19... I win the next, I gain 18... I lose the next I lose 20...

WTF is happening here? Shouldn't I be in the exact sweet spot, kind of "exactly where I should be", given how the famous, hidden, unknown system always is supposed to work?!

Please help me out, especially all those guys who always stand up for Riot to say how the system works perfectly well and is perfectly fair!

Your MMR value is lower than the MMR value attached to your current rank(hopefully that made sense).

So you are getting less LP because you are playing against players of lower MMR value than your current rank.

For example you could be in gold 5 playing against players with silver 2 MMR because that's what your MMR is. Less LP gains when you win.

You have to win enough games to where your MMR matches your current rank if you want more LP on wins than losses.

The opposite is also true. If you are in Gold 5 with plat 5 MMR you could expect to get +30 LP and lose -10.
