Support Income beyond T3 is worse for losing players

Give me a second to explain. The game usually consists of a losing and a winning team, with the winners having gold advantages in many cases. Before the changes you would usually get a chunk of gold as a support by participating in teamfights, getting assists (never kills), not straying a second from your team to grab minions or jungle camp. As it is the "natural order" of things. There was already a difference in gold but the gap was less broad as it is now, since the support of the team losing could at least increase his gold by executing minions or hitting champions with the spellthief line. Nowadays the difference has become worse for the player behind as this part of the income system for supports breaks away once he reaches a meager 1000 gold. It is surely in the rest of my teams interest that i do not start farming to get gold and therefor i would like Riot to reconsider the removal of gold income beyond Tier 3.

Sincerely, a support main on a break.

From the very beginning I knew what I wanted to play once the changes went live and it was just what I expected, I had a lot of fun while capitulating on those but once I finally got to play proper/ traditional supports I felt it too lol, (except for Nami, she seemed immune to it whenever I played her).

I definitely notice that if I am supporting on a losing team I am WAY behind what I used to be. Support gold after T3 comes from assists and the really poor gold generation passive. If your team is failing, you aren't getting assist gold and it puts you further and further behind a team that is killing your team left and right. Support items shouldn't punishing the losing support player so devastatingly badly.

This NEEDS to be brought to attention. It is a major problem.
