Open Question to Rioters

With the recent knowledge of Gangplank being able to crit structures becoming more general, I have a question.

If a person were to use this in a Ranked game with the understanding that it's an unintended side effect of his interaction, would they be susceptible to a ban due to them abusing a glitch for their own gain? Or would it be more along the lines of getting an advantage by knowing how to animation cancel on Riven?

As far as I know Riot doesn't ban people that abuse glitches, they just get rid of the glitch or accept it as a feature and make a note on the next patch.

The old Terms of Use had this:

IX. Code of Conduct. Certain rules govern Your use of the Site and/or the Game (the "Code of Conduct&quot. The Code of Conduct is not meant to be exhaustive, and Riot Games reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary measures including account termination and deletion to protect the integrity and spirit of the Site and/or the Game, regardless of whether a specific behavior is listed here as prohibited. The following are examples of behavior that warrant disciplinary measures:

F. Participating in any action which, in the sole and exclusive judgment of Riot Games, "exploits" an undocumented aspect of the Game in order to secure an unfair advantage over other users.

So it might still hold up.

They can't ban you for playing a champion.

No, that's--

That's not the question. The question is whether or not a particular action would be considered abuse of a glitch, which used to be bannable.

It is your question, and the answer is no.

No, it's not.

Go be misleading elsewhere.
