Why aren't they removed or free yet. It's not that hard just give every player tier 3 runes... Runes hurt everyone. You grind to 6300 ip only to find you need the right runes or runes in general to start at an equal level in the game. Runes cost wayyy too much.

u have a disadvantage being lvl 10 vs lvl 30 with out runes or masteries
the issue isnt runes and masteries even if u had those ur still lvl 10 vs lvl 30
the real issue is match making dont blame the rune system for the problem

that is a choice you make. and here is why the runes cost ip cuz you have to choose to use your ip or champs/runes
you can start with two rune pages that will cover the basics of all champs
AD 9 flat ad marks, 9 flat armor seals, 3 ad quints, 9 flat mr glyphs AP 9 flat magic pen marks, 9 flat armor, seals, 3 flat ap quints, 9 flat mr glyphs
there for you only need 6 different runes types for all champs and have two basic pages
also its a free game riot makes their income from in game transactions, buying RP, to buy skins, champs. if they give runes for no IP then they lose $ cuz you a re using all the IP for champs instead of getting RP to do so.
its a company not a charity
also shouldnt jump right into rank right when you reach level 30. you are far not experience enough to succeed, most people try to do rank now with about 100 wins normals. you need about 300 normal wins before you are set for rank play.

but the only reason u need runes for free to get champs with iP is cuz u are creating a smurf and gonna try to stomp some bad players in low elos. and if your truly good enough to be plat you can play with tier 2 runes for 1 ip each and by pure skill of the game beat and out play the bad newbs you are smurfing against

????? I'm complaining because I wanted to buy Jayce and try him out, but I had to buy 9 Scaling Health runes. 9 of those runes took 3k IP from me. Where did smurfing come into play lol.
