I never jungled of my life, i tried jungling and it's worse than what i expected...

Hello, do you like to play lanes and never play jungle ? It's my case and these times i wanted to try a little bit jungle because i was bored of laning.

I think i should have stayed on bot lane honestly.

Ok let's me explain my story : I queue Up and a good surprise happend, the queue time is very short. Shorter than support queue time ! I was so surprised and like "hum ok i won't have to wait a lot to game, it's good...".

Now i understand it's because nobody wants to jungle.

I pick because i don't know junglers champ. I played J4 top and since he is a jungler, i was like " at least i know his kit so i won't be lost" and the 52,75% win rate in jungle was making me confident. I watched some videos to help me but nothing helped me because all the J4 were good games where the J4 was 20/0 at 10 min of game. (I mean when i looked at these guides, i feel like the streamer were on a really really good game because he was feed but feed and he oneshooted everything).

I start at red with flag like in the videos. I try to farm with the movement thing, you the know attack and move thing.

I farm red, then i go at blue, i do gromp and i do lycans and i try to watch for a gank. Unfortunately, my mates are pushing and i don't want to towerdive at lvl 3 so i go to the rift scuttler. I'm low on hp so i recall.

I try to watch for gank, i can't gank mid, i can't gank bot so i head for top. The ennemy top laner use his flash, ok it's good, no kill but a flash so it's worth. I continu to farm... I'm facing XP problem. I'm like "it's so long to have 6 !".

Bot lane is losing, mid is fine but ungankabble. I try to help bot lane but it's only make things worse. The enemy jungler was a kha'zix and he was feed from bot lane.

I decide to gank top, we take the kill but my top laner don't push and recall.

They do drake, i try to steal it but i fail and die like a pure noob.

I try to do herald and i got it ! Katarina is ganking bot to help my bot lane because Vladimir is ganking bot and they are 3 on bot lane. I'm mid lane, i use herald and i take tower and manage to damage the second tower pretty well.

But bot lane is really losing.

We lose drakes, and it's infernal drakes mean that it's really bad for us. I feel useless because i'm not feed. I try to focus the other bot lane and trap them into my ulti but i'm so squishy. I was dying from 2 spells.

So first lose... Okay it's harder than i tought but i told myself : Okay, it's happend to everyone and this bot lane wasn't making my jungler life easier xD.

I play second game, it's a perfect. I get feed. I felt like i was playing vs iron 4. I was doing objectives, ganks and i was pretty feed and even made a quadra. All lanes won and we won easy. Still A+ only... Feel like J4 is the hardest champ to have S on it lol.

Third game, i'm confident after the win, i want to get a S on J4, but it's a stomp. The enemy team is way better than us, we lose top even tought i ganked him a lot. We lose bot lane... No drakes, only herald like always. I always manage to get herald and get a tower but i'm useless since i'm not feed. And their team had 3 infernal drakes ! 3 infernals ! It's was a nightmare because i was responsible for this since the jungler is the one who is supposed to do jungle objective and i'm pretty bad at it.

Fourth game, another lose. I manage to get a drake, herald. Ganks are hard, i feel like the enemy are way better than when i play in lane. For example, i try to gank mid but it's warded. I head to top lane to help Aatrox vs Ornn but Ornn manage to 1 vs 2 us. I was surprised at the dmg, i tought J4 was a little bit tankier. I ganked the lane full life with blue buff and i was dying to Ornn in 2 vs 1. What a shame...

Bot is losing again, i head to bot lane but the enemy mid laner (Talon) come and countergank. Our Irelia mid has trouble to push... They do Drake, i manage to steal it and i'm HAPPY BECAUSE I STOLE THE DRAKE which never happend to me.

I do herald as always. On all games i was surprised because i felt like nobody was thinking about doing herald. Bot lane was ganked and they was death so i spammed Herald at mid lane. We took the first tower. But even with this, we still managed to lose because bot was feeding and i wasn't feed even tought i wasn't that bad. I was like 1/0/2 but it's was far from the videos of J4 jungle.

Fifth game, i start to lose hope, i feel like it's too hard for me and i will never have a S with J4. I try to buy a red ward everytime i'm base and place it in the bush. I'm playing vs a Shyvana jungle who is stealing my jungle. Im under xp and bot is losing as always.

As a support and adc main, i was like "why bot lane is always losing ?" maybe i don't gank them. But they always push. And when i try to gank, or i'm counterganked, or they don't help me and i die...

I try to help my top gankplank vs a Kled but it's not simple, Kled is making big dmg and since i'm not feed and under XP, i'm squishy and i die very easily. We are far from the videos of jungling but very far. Shyvana took the drake and it's an infernal drake so i was bitter because i knew infernal drake was so important and i didn't managed to steal it. I still have do herald and tried to push mid. We took tower as always but it's wasn't enough. Gp started to lose his lane vs Kled even tought i ganked him and he took some kills on him. They do Baron and we are completely crushed...

It's horrible, i feel so bad because i was useless but at same time i was like "wtf is these bot lanes ?" They was constantly pushing and dying. I feel very squishy and useless except on the game where i was playing with a great team and i was 20/2.

The amount of pressure on the jungler is horrible. The drakes are very important, especially infernal drakes. You have to gank and carry your team especially when you have these kind of bot lanes.

I wasn't winning enough Xp while i was trying to focus on farming. I felt like i have to steal my laner minion XP to get my levels.

I felt useless when i wasn't feed. I warned my teams before the game that i was bad, they laughed at me and said "reported :)" and they ended up with worse KDA than me. I didn't knew if i was bad or no because everyone was losing.

The counterjungle was very oppressing, especially because i didn't earn enough xp from the farming.

I don't know if i had a really bad matchmaking, i'm sure i didn't played well but these loses make me question about jungle. I wanted to play jungle to be a little bit "relax" from the lane but it's worse than laning ! Maybe my oponents were too strong considering im new at jungling...

Do you have some tips/advices when you aren't 20/2 with J4 ? xD would like to get the famous S.

What are your toughts about jungling ? Do you feel oppressed to play jungler ?
