So yeah I haven't played League in months, and now I'm coming back and I'm seeing all these reworks and preseason change shit that is making me confused.

Why the hell does Darius have a delay on his Q?
What's all this talk about early grouping and how important it is? I figure it's pretty common depending on the level at which you play (Or I have a bad memory). What's the big deal?
Where are all the tryhard Fiora players?
What did they do with potions and are any of those upgrades worth it?
The mastery tree is the most... Different mastery tree I've seen in this game. What path is optimal for what class?

Things change every 2 weeks in this game, get yourself back up to speed by playing, watching videos or looking back at patch notes you missed. Riot just changing the game as they always have.

ok im gonna address this one at a time

darius got partially reworked. it's delayed now but it also heals him, so he was kind of incredibly broken for a while. still pretty broken imo.
im not really sure what this one means. can you explain?

mana potions got completely removed, and they reworked crystalline flask. there's also a refillable potion that most people use in the jungle. health potions are the exact same im pretty sure? just cost more.
i would experiment with your masteries but basically ferocity is damage, cunning is utility, and resolve is defense. i used this guide to help figure out my masteries but nothing is as good as just trying things out in norms. also, there's a new special mastery called the keystone. it's the last mastery on each tree and it's significantly better than all the other masteries. but you can only pick one. you can also see which keystone mastery your team and the enemy team took if you hit tab and look at the scoreboard now.

EDIT: in case you weren't aware, they also took sight wards out of the game for some godawful reason.

BECAUSE of the delay, there's a handy heal with it. •What's all this talk about early grouping and how important it is? What's the big deal? ~~ because the earlier you can buff your team with victorious teamfights the better. or else youll end up being the shit yi or adc who feeds because youre alone. •Where are all the tryhard Fiora players? ~~Fiora got a rework and is quite different to play now than what she used to be. so the category of players playing fiora has changed.
