Honor will not receive a progress bar and should not have one.

Riot has already gone on record saying that adding a progress bar to honor would make it seem like a grind and they absolutely do not want honor rewards to be a grind. They want honor to happen as you continue playing.

On a psychological level, not knowing exactly when you're going to receive a reward reinforces long term desired behavior. This is why casinos and lotteries are successful.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN HONOR IS THE SAME THING AS GAMBLING. DO NOT EVEN GO THERE.

Honor already seems like a grind, just with literally no feedback on how close you are to the next checkpoint. No progress bar just makes it worse, atleast with something showing progress you'd have some indication that you're progressing.

Its a very eastern world grind: Endless, monotonous, time consuming, little payout. Ive said this since the swap from IP: Riots clear favoring of eastern culture is dramatically harming their native audience. Rather than global changes, net-cafe design should have been eastern world ONLY.

I agree with Dynikus. Progressing feels like crap especially after a ban when you are dropped to honor 0. You feel like you have nothing to lose because you don't feel progression and therefore just cause people to troll more. The grind is real and without a feeling of progress, you just don't want to care or play anymore. And for people who haven't been banned before, It just felt like a chore to try to lvl up honor. Randomly you get rewards and are like "oh, I got a checkpoint". The honor system was designed to before people and root out toxicity, but I feel like it causes it when you fee hopeless to get things like the end of season reward.
