Make Shen Great Again

Why not make Shen one of the smaller rework champs for Mid-Season.

Another option would be to make him a diver rather than a tank. Since Galio is going to do Shen's job better, why not switch our favorite Tanky Ninja, into a Proper Ninja. One thing that could be really cool for a diver Shen would be to add a turret blocker like how Pantheon can tank a whole turret shot. Give his W a golden glow to indicate that he can tank a turret shot, then it turns its usual color when he take regular damage.

But above all else, when he gets semi-reworked... make his skins as good as Galios... Just sayin.

aside from the trolly title, Riot had pretty much said they wanted to focus on their main works, and wasn't likely going to do any smaller reworks in the process.
