Galio has new particle on his skins.

Wow all my skins look really cool now! Even my really cheap skins feel like new! I Know right! My skins got something too! My fire and ice skins are pretty cool! My Pentakill skin has a firey look to it. Still no new skin though. :/ I got some ok changes. They added a nice eagle screech to my Uncle Ryze skin. I look fabulous now! Even some recolored abilities on my cheap skins. I got, umm, a floating sword that looks different with skins, no new particles though. I got a really good new model and my mouth actually moves, so that's cool.

Why doesn't Shen have and particles or recolors on his cheap skins? Why doesn't Yorick have a new skin yet? Doesn't putting particles on Galio's old skins make them worth more?

Just some questions I have.

Because Shen just got some model updates. They didn't do full update like all the others you listed. Those were complete relaunches from the ground up. You can compare Shen to updates such as Alistar and Maokai . They didn't put as much effort or resources into them. Riot stopped doing those type of partial reworks though and now they only do complete reworks.

I actually think there is literally no reason to pick Gatekeeper over Enchanted/Hextech now unless you want the VO.

Poppy's skins are pretty sad now that we see the potential they had, but the facial rig is nice.

There is actually an explanation for why Galio's skins, alongside with those of Warwick, have received recolored particles.

It all goes back to the development of Elementalist Lux! Due to the needs of this ultimate skin, the Skins team invested in new technology that allowed them to efficiently modify in-game particles (whereas before, those were essentially hand-painted).

Because of this change, new skins and champion reworks have been receiving better-matching particles.
