Offline Mode

An offline mode would be wonderful, even if it was just minions running down a lane to practice CS, or if it could be a simple bot game.

I use Custom mode and load it with Bots if I need to Practice something

Wholeheartedly agreed. Sometimes I don't want to deal with petulant children arguing over who gets to play mid. Sometimes I don't want to sit around for an hour waiting for all my friends to sign on. Sometimes I don't want to deal with friends having hurt feelings because I don't want to play with the people in their lobby. Sometimes I just want to work on my mechanics and have a nice, relaxing 30 minutes of stress-free practice.

An offline mode, even if it only had bots (i.e. no LAN or other networking options to play with other people), would be perfect for anyone who just wants to get in a little bit of League and then stop for the day, without the hassle of matchmaking, invitations or internet issues.

Offline mode would mean data stored on your pc and not on servers anymore.

That would make cheats and stuff way easier

Won't happen. As mention below, it would lead to more cheating, as the entirety of the game files would need to be hosted locally on the individual computer.

They said no to this, and last week when someone asked, we pointed out because of leaving the game even more open to people exploiting code.

Amen.

Nope, exept if you want more cheating / scripting in the game.

maybe rito should make a campaign mode. say on the aram map, where you play harder and harder bots 1v1 matches, and/or 2v2 matches "have your own smart-bot ally?" that have specific conditions to clear a level- In Example, 1v1 vs cait-bot, clear conditions= higher cs than cait-bot at Xminutes going in a gauntlet style of advancement "perhaps 3 tries on a level before you start back at the first fight?" where there are as many floors as there are champions and each floor pushes you to do a little better at one or two mechanics then the previous floor? and to beat the final floor you have to be able to use all of the mechanics polished by this system with a really high set of clear conditions? This, would be a godsend, because when someone is unskilled, they would now have somewhere to help them polish their mechanics.

I swear somebody posts this 3 times a day. Riot won't do it. As cool as it would be, they wont do it.

What if the Offline mode and the Online mode of game play were not one in the same like you wouldn't have to log on to play the offline mode and it has nothing to do with your Online accounts, maybe even use different and new characters. Just basically the same game engine and mechanics, I think if you went about it that way it would prevent cheating and if not there has to be some way to do offline and still prevent cheating. Maybe I'm just optimistic though.
