Minion block/pathfinding is overdue for fixing. @RIOT

How long has it been going on @RIOT?

1-2 seasons already

The minion block changes that Riot implemented and their tinkering with it made it a lot worse than it was in the older seasons. Although I see some threads re-surfacing from time to time, the situation and system is in pretty broken state and apparently we need to remind Riot more frequently about it so they would actually fix this stupid shit.

Only recently I started to take footage, if I get through my replays I can surely find countless more.

Riot's official standpoint is that minion block and pathing returned to their original state after the preseason work they did on it was called back. We all know it is not true but that is their official standpoint

I'm still waiting for a "You can now pass through ally minions. No more collisions.". So I won't be blocked by my own people like Caesar.

Riot has said this about minion blocking,

"It doesn't exist"

Just.....idk anymore

Sometimes I believe waves of minions have a secret passive that applies CC.

It's a pain in the ass with certain champs: have you ever played Singed and got stuck in your own minions? Not even enemy minions, no, ally minions.

I dunno, last time they tried to "fix" it, they had to revert it cause they made it worse, and have conveniently just avoided the subject publicly ever since.

Riot:"Hey guys should we answer this post or do what we always do and ignore this topic even though it's a issue"?

I play both League and Dota and it's really funny seeing people complain about this on League. League's path-finding is like melted butter compared to Dota's path-finding, so I can't really relate to the problem.

It's ridiculous. It's not just "the minion is in the way," it's "You decided to sit on top of the minion and ride it into battle." There have been multiple times where the enemy laner outplays me, but then one single minion completely stops them from going anywhere, and they run left-to-right trying to get around it, and I walk away with 1 HP. No kill.

Didn't Rito state that creepblock is too huge of a ball of spaghetti that they actually don't have the ability to fix it?

My minions snared me once and cost me a game. Like legit, was taking inhib with minion waves stacking, I dash/blinked to inhib and they held me against the wall of inhib. Couldn't move when the enemy team collapsed on me. Flash and ult were on CD so I died forcing a 4v5 which resulted in a loss. Felt bad man.

Have fun with Rift Herald minion block btw. lol ^^

I have no idea why people complain about this. It's dangerous to fight enemies in the minion wave at early levels. It's just that simple.

I remember they intentionally fucked up minion block and pathing like year or 2 ago cant remember. But it was fine until they introduced that change in patch that should "improve" pathing or something and ever since then we see enormous minion blocks. They even removed mechanic of many champions and items to ignore minion collision.
