Huge lane pressure, absolutely disgusting ult, excellent zoning, ranged cc...

I saw all this before, and now Syndra is constantly in Worlds matches.

Hope she gets nerfed, very annoying champ to fight.

Eh. The Cass was very stupid against her. First of all, she counterpicked herself, due to not having range, and then she kept sitting in skill shots.

She is strong, yes, but she does have weaknesses and she has a high skill floor, meaning to play her truly successfully you need to have A LOT of experience on her. She doesn't need nerfs imo...

her only "weakness" now is immobility but most mages are immobile. if you look at what those players did at worlds you know they didnt do anything crazy outplayed. she is just op. just a q and e or w and e is highskill? anyone can do it. if you quick cast these spells its really easy.

Yes and no, it can be outplayed pretty easily. She is generally telegraphed and does very well against low-mobility mid laners. This isn't to say that there aren't mages that do well against her, cause there are. Mages that can do fairly well against her, and the ones i choose when i have to fight her are: Lux, Xerath, Lissandra, Swain, and Zyra. I have had and seen great success against her with these mages. Also if you have the chance to counter pick, play ANY assassin pretty much and you can win. She is hardly OP, she is just in a good spot right now. Every champion, for the most part, can be shut down.

play any assassins ? the reason people dont play assassins is because its harder to finish games with them. the thing with syndra is she has the assassin kill potential with a press of a button without all the risks, she still has waveclear and cc

an assassin's strongest is early game, it isnt hard to rush hexdrinker then cheese her with your combo...like....super easy to do. plus if you stop her early game she falls off SUPER fast

With the exception of the two AP assassins, Talon and Zed CAN kill their opponent pre-6, which is still very much early game. I should have clarified the assassins to play, i forget people can be quite literal, as seen in your case >_> of course it still comes down to the player and whether or not he/she can play the champion well enough to know what they are doing, as it is with any champion, pretty much. Yasuo CAN be a good pick against her if it is a seasoned player, but a lot of the time it is a skill match up, but that's not saying the champion himself does not have the tools to counter her. Fizz is exceptional at countering her early game, once again though, IF the player knows what to do.

In a lot of cases it all comes down to the player and their capabilities. I am not denying that Syndra is strong, but she is hardly OP and has clear strengths and weaknesses. She has plenty of counters, and she is not even close to over tuned. She does her job well, which she should, that is kind of the point of it. It's just like with many other champions that are deemed too strong, they just do what they are supposed to do, well.

Admittedly, I will say a lot of stuff in the game are in her favor atm, but a lot of champions go through this, it isn't worthy calling for nerfs or anything of the like, just let it pass and learn how to fight her.

people dont play those picks cos they weakness overweight their strengths even when they ahead, dont have waveclear and dont end games easy, too risky. shes op cos shes got everything

She doesn't have mobility, tank stats or any way to quickly roam and help other lanes. So no, she does not have "everything" and Yasuo can still be highly relevant late game just as much as Syndra.
