Buffed! He needs more nerfs if anything. He can still mid fairly well, he can top great now, and he is insane in the jungle.

His win rates are sub-50% at all levels, albeit not by much. I actually think he's pretty well-balanced right now (albeit in kind of a weird way, he has all AP ratios but the dominant build is AD, though there's also a tanky AP build). I don't know why they're still screwing around with him; I feel like the balance team could put their manifold talents to better use elsewhere.

Seeing how I play Fizz though, I guess if they want to move part of the active over to the passive I won't whine about it too much.

They're pretty much gutting AD Fizz and right now AP Fizz is subpar. He needs some minor buffs to bring up to standard.

You do understand the current PBE version is actually a straight-up buff as compared to the live version, right? They're just looking at moving a piece of the W active over to the passive (meaning it's always in effect rather than just after activating the ability).

The PBE version is a nerf to AD Fizz, basically gutting him. AD Fizz will no longer be viable after that hits live and AP Fizz is weak right now, even with the W change which is pretty much just reverting the change they made to the active / passive in 5.2. It's not a buff to AP Fizz either.

Change is totally necessary if they want AP Fizz to be a thing. As a Fizz player myself, I just converted to AD Fizz and kind of enjoy that he doesn't get banned as much as before. I saw they were toying around with some PBE changes; not sure how I feel about it.

I tried AD Fizz once, didn't turn out too well but I figured they'd gut AD Fizz cause according to everyone he is an "abomination" and I was right, so I'm kinda glad I didn't get used to AD Fizz but AP Fizz definitely needs buffs.
