New HP Bruiser items too strong. Armor items too weak.

Plain and simple. Riot was worried about Juggernauts being over powered so they nerfed armor hard and Added Juggernaut items that they can use and abuse. I am sick of ADC's and any other AD champions getting a lead and what can I do? Buy paper armor that costs even more than it should and still be needing more and more expensive and ineffective armor? They are just going to get tank shredding items anyway. This Juggernaut patch was way too much of a testing ground but you didn't have to make armor useless if the enemy is ahead of you. Now as for these new HP bruiser items, they are way too strong and just abused by Juggernauts and beefy Fighters. item 3748 and item 3053 are way too good and eventually give these Juggernauts massive steroids. HP stacking bruisers are rewarded heavily and tanks are punished. item 3035 item 3153 item 3072 item 3071 are all still in the game and are effective against tanks and armor gets the nerfs before these do. Please revert these armor nerfs already and work on making Juggernauts strong but not overpowered.

i think the idea behind the armor changes was to separate bruisers and tanks more.

they nerfed armor items and increased the armor scaling per level specifically on tanks to compensate. so tanks wouldnt feel much of a difference with the armor changes, but bruisers wouldnt be as tanky as them with items like randuins.

as you already listed up there, bork is still a thing. and health stacking isnt the best idea considering borks passive applies lifesteal.

if you want to argue about something, then maybe that tanks didnt get compensated enough. and i would agree that they should probably get another increase to their armor scaling. but the new bruiser items are fine. and its not like anyone is stopping tanks from buying them.

items like steraks and titanic hydra would fit very well into an item build for shen for example.

i think the actual problem is that thornmail is really shit now. its too much of a loss for tanks and they didnt get compensated enough for it.

They compensated for exclusively Supports , Rammus and Amumu . That doesn't seem like all tanks to me. And if they could have just added these bruiser items and not touched armor to separate tanks and juggernauts. Late game ADCS and Fighters melt tanks faster because of these armor nerfs. The "tank meta" was very short lived and their itemization has been hit left and right. item 3709 item 3800 and now their Armor.

im not saying youre wrong.

tanks did get the shaft. but bruisers were in a shitty spot before the intoduction of the new items aswell. i dont think it was buffing bruisers, but nerfing tank items all around. cinderhulk, thornmail etc. without compensating them enough, what kicked them back into the ditch.

ive been having this idea for a tank item. ideally for warmorgs.

imo the sustain passive isnt really interesting for tanks. they dont need out of combat sustain. they need so survive through a fight. and tanks deserve a core item that doesnt lose most of its gold value with a last whisper and a bork in a carries inventory.

imo they should change the item to something like this:

build path:

item 1011 + item 1011 + item 1028 = item 3083

+1000 hp unique passive: for each 100 health missing, gain 0.5% damage reduction.

(adds up to 20% damage reduction at 4k health missing)

this would make it an item for tanks in specific imo. squishier champions or bruisers who build around 3k to 3.5k maximum health would get less out of the item than tanks.
