So I went to op.gg today and i saw not many people are playing ranked. How i know that is because i was on my ALT account and i seen i was ranked 700,000+ and it was a b4 account. I was expecting a million+. So is there a reason why people are not playing ranked anymore? Season 5 and season 6 had quite a number. This season not so much.

Right now it feels like playing (beyond the 10 placements which are partly based on your last season's performance in which they didn't YET mess up the MMR as much) and investing in ranked is directly correlated with losing LP.
Not sure why the MMR difficulty has to go up if you're winning consecutive games. Without MMR, you're still playing against better and better people but you'll also be playing WITH better people. Seems much more fair.
Why should you get matched with progressively worse team mates if you win X games in a row? If you're still winning games in a row, the game shouldn't penalize you for it. They should let you climb until you reach the point where you are (personally) more of a burden for your team and causing loss.
WitchQueen Annie1 votesPretty much all of my friends have dropped in Ranked since the last season. And I'm sure all of them have gotten better, not worse at the game.
In fact, right now the best way to get an optimally high rank in Ranked for most people (it seems) is to play 10 placement games and then stop.
Everyone I know who's played hours and hours after placements has been dropping.
It also feels awful to play these consecutively rigged games (2 or 3 "easy" games followed 2 or 3 "rigged" games where you get these AWFUL team mates). This mixed with Autofill just feels awful. The more you play the more likely you'll tilt and start losing the easy games too.
I know a few people who've managed to climb but pretty much everyone I personally know has suffered massively in ranked recently. It just feels awful.
Sir Fuzzi1 votesThe only thing I got for you is Riot's pandering to a less and less even-tempered userbase. As they keep trying to compensate for stupid with systems, they come out with systems that burn reasonable players.
The current queue is a joke. If you're queuing to play just one role, not only are you doing it wrong, you're gonna be disappointed a lot. And now those people dodge when they don't get AD Support Smite/Ignite Singed or whatever the dumb fuck is the new meta-break. I remember when it was AD Thresh and he was way more viable...
Anyway, the common player is more likely to be a dodger, feeder, AFKer, etc. etc., which has dragged the overall experience through the mud.
