Riot Please rework some of your 975 rp skin's or Tone down the value

So there are many skins that are not worth 975 RP for example Mafia Graves no changes whatsoever only visual. On top of that its worth 9 dollar's here in NA how is that worth my riot point's when i paid 10 bucks for 1 card that only gives 1100 rp this makes zero sense same with some Twitch skins none of them are worth 975 rp. Why are the prices for these skins are so damn high, when they have no particle effects? The least you could do riot is to rework the particle effects or lower the rp cost for some of these skins. At least rework the particle effects on old 975 skins or tone the value down because your making quality skins for 975 rp with many effects while these skins are left with nothing but visuals. And im not going to even mention some of the 1820 rp skins that have just visual effects no new voice overs either thats for another rant.

If so why do they still cost 975 or 9 dollars when they clearly have no effects the least they can do is either make them 520 rp or 750 or give them a particle rework

Im semi outraged that they never gave Arcade Sona a recall during the arcade event...

Edit: Reducing prices isn't the way to go, because people with those skins will be outraged and they have the right to be outraged. What they need to do is upgrade their older skins and make them up to par with the current tiers. It's been said before and I agree with the idea that Riot needs to step back and just fix all the old problems like fixing older champions and fixing older art/skins.

Why would they have the right to be outraged? Everything's price goes down after a while. That new phone you bought will be a loooot cheaper in a few years. Thas the fact that you got it at a higher price give you the right to be outraged? No. You bought it when it was new and the price was relevant. Then. New and better things came after that.

Same thing with skins. You can't expect old skins to be as good as the new one, or that their price should stay the same.

The skin prices are absurd.

I don't buy any skins that aren't on sale. I'll be happy to spend $100 on multiple 495RP skins. I'm not going to spend $100 on 975 or 1350RP skins, yet alone anything higher priced.

I legit cannot believe some people bought the 8200RP Project Bundle with 4 skins total.

Sandscuorge Skarner for example, i don't understand why it costs 975 RP when it's only feature is a new model. Adn then you get GotS Skarner with new models, new fx, new recall for the same 975 RP.

They should just reduce the price of these skins to 750. Most of the skins in the category you've mentioned are of today's 750 standard anyway, so I don't know why it can't just be changed (of course I know why $$$$$$$$$).

I'd say Jade dragon Wukong and General Wukong as well, but Jade does have new particles ( I don't know if it's Worth 950 RP for a different colored Ult and fiery gauntlets, but still more than mafia graves got) and General is underwhelming, but it is 750 RP, so that might be excusable.

Youtube says it's HD. But the quality doesn't reflect. Real shame on riot's part. Either the embeding on the website isnt good or they recorded it poorly

Riot has never done a skin spotlight. You're getting it confused with champion spotlight, which riot does, but they never do a skin spotlight. The skin spotlights are done by someone not affiliated with riot (they work close with surrender@20) and allow you to see what the skins look like in game before you purchase them.

I think most of the older skins should get looked at regardless of the price class. There are some 975 skins that could use new particles There are some 975 skins where it might be complicated to get fitting new particles which instead could drop a price-tier And there are quite some 520 and 750 skins that would benefit alot from new particles, or not even new, just recolord. Frosted Ezreal for example would be a way more awsome skin if it had white-/blue-ish particles instead of the normal yellow ones, or Deep One Kassadin with Green rather than Purple - even if that would mean those skins go up 1-2 price tears, it should be done imo.

It says that it only needs to have a new model new textures and a new splash art, and sometimes includes new visual effects. Personally I wouldn't pay 9 dollars for that skin though

except that is exactly why the 750 RP price tag exists... for the skins that are just different models, textures, and nothing more. (the Debonair line for instance)

This is probably a bad business idea because

They have to spend resources and delay other projects for something that a lot of people already own and some other could buy 2)People knew what they are buying and most skin don't offer gameplay advantage 3)making a new skin will always make more money 4)Riot decide the price of a skin, they don't have to change the price for no other reason then a riot decision.

why not how hard is it just to change at least the color of moves they need to step back and reflect on the skins they made because your paying real money just to pay for these skins your not paying ingame ip it would be fair because money dosent come off trees you know

To change color you need someone that is payed and that could do something more useful and profitable, it's a not long of difficult but it's still a waste. Riot can decide the price because they are the one making the skins for their game, The game is f2p and nobody is obligated to buy skin because most skin (especially old ones) don't offer gameplay advantage, to buy a skin is a choice a player made because they want it. Skins are probably the main way riot make moneys and if remaking or upgrading a skin was profitable they would probably do that but it's usually best to make a new skin then remaking and old one.
