Should I buy Karma?

I mainly want her for her Order of the Lotus skin. Also, I play lots of AP Supports, so I thought she would be nice. I haven't played her much though. Should I buy her? Pros and cons? Should I also get her skin?

Well, Karma offers a lot to her team. She has a basically spammable movespeed boost tied to a shield, and a fairly easy to hit ms slow, as well as a root.

In terms of pros, she offers a lot of utility, and she has her ultimate at level 1, which means you can apply pressure. Also, she's fairly mana efficient; once you get a chalice/grail you'll be able to basically spam all day. And best of all her ult + W gives her surprising tankiness.

As for cons, none of her utlity scales (flat ms buff, flat slows, no AP scaling, etc) and because her ultimate is tied to her basic abilities, just because her ultimate cooldown is available, doesn't mean you'll be able to use the desired skill if it's still on cd.

Anyway, I recommend trying her out, so go ahead and buy her, but I'd wait on the skin until you're sure you like her! I play her mostly as a mid, rarely as a support, (and occasionally as a top and jungle), and she's really good at those roles, but because of the way her kit is, I don't think she's really for everyone.

As a general rule when playing Karma: When you hit lvl 2 someone is going to die, just hope you didn't have to Mantra earlier. She's a HUGE lane bully that offers quite a bit of survivability to her lane. She also doesn't have a terrible setup with Junglers.

As mentioned, you're not much of a late-game powerhouse. You'll spend most of your time spamming Q for any poke you can get and saving Mantra for AoE shields during the late-game.
