That one buff that brought tears to my eyes
Nexus Blitz Tower health and resistances have been increased by about 10%

The irony
The gamemode that's supposed to be quick has had buffs to turrets' defenses.
Time to play Nexus blitz instead
The quick game mode actually has stronger turrets, yet people are more aggressive
It's almost like making objectives out of tissue paper isn't nessecarily going to encourage interesting aggression
I mean, it's also probably due to the fact that at any moment, 3 or more people could be at the turret at any moment. The gamemode is built on aggression, but it's also built on it's Clustered-close arena.
That is a huge factor and one of the reasons why Dawngate was so great.
I just have a hope that one day riot might learn that reliability and fallback are what create aggression, not more risk and more punishment
Gosh don't get me started with Dawngate. I miss Mina.
I was a Feria one trick and my friend would pick Mina and we would actually double jungle. Shit was legit.
I'd always go Predator on Mina, despite her being a Support, because it gave its bonus gold for both Assists and Kills, so you just rake in dat cash money.
Yep. My friend would go tactician for lane Mina but predator when they jungled with me. The main downside is you pretty much needed to run Fenmore for the 2v1 lane
Now we just need it on SR.
More like 30% on SR. Plus a damage buff.
[sg-soraka] Sum Rift too please?

Overall feels like outer turrets going down a bit later makes the game better overall.
Buffing outer towers for 8.17, but keeping inhib and nexus turrets relatively the same. Should be slightly harder to get a snowball going, but roughly as easy to end if you do manage to get ahead.
Rift Herald is still in the game in its current 1500 true damage no matter what form.
I'm not sure that buffing outer turrets is going to stop the "get Herald, gank and finish off tier 1, then summon herald and immediately grab tier 2" strat.
"Get herald" is the part you should be wary about then. Can't just ignore top lane anymore it seems.
If outers are buffed, that means it can be harder to do phase two of your plan as herald only lasts for about 5-ish minutes. I forget the duration.
Point is that it's easy to do now because A.) outers can fall fast and B.) you can take herald and capitalize on it easily. Changing outer durability makes this harder and, depending on how tanky, might just be neigh impossible.
They should make herald harder to solo
Agreed. If you can solo you should be A.) Absurdly ahead B.) able to solo it slowly (We're talking like a solid minute) or C.) Risking a LOT to do it.

Ahh yes season 2, where shit like Kassadin had a 97% ban rate and the only Viable adcs were Graves Ezreal and Corki.
Ahh yes season 3, everyone loved League of Cleavers, League of warmogs, league of spirit elder, league of assassins.
Ahh yes, season 4, the joy of Feral flare!
They had problems, but imo not as much as the current state of the game. I really dislike how champions get changed because they are "outdated", the game got famous with that champs, because not everyone likes playing high mechanically champs.
no league was better as concept art in 1998, when The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table.
Could we buff the turret damage? They deal too little damage to champs. Plain and simple. Give them a unique damage value to champs and increase it the closer you get to the nexus.
And fix the inconsistency of the max range turret shot? Sometimes people freely poke you down bouncing in and out of agro while sustaining zero shots. Then in other cases the turret locks on and fire a solid second and a half after you've left turret range
Nexus Blitz is a complete disaster from a technical standpoint, I literally cannot play the game during the first 2 minutes. The game's lagging THAT bad and constantly resets my position every 3 steps, how come no one has bothered to fix this extreme issue?
The (not so) funny joke is, Nexus Blitz is the gamemode where I EXPECT my towers to fall within seconds.... Summoners Rift is the one that gets me tilted when I lose my tower at 8 minutes.... hmmm...

Pretty much this
Nexus Blitz Tower health and resistances have been increased by about 10%
I think we have a problem
SR Turrets would need like 15-20% after the barrage of nerfs they gave them over the past few seasons.
10 motherfucking percent , not 1% not 2 but 10 - arent you thankful?!
WOW, that's a low price!
You do realize the turret buffs were only in nexus siege, a gamemode built for short matches.
If only that was true for the SR too.
[sg-miss-fortune]
Well, even if these changes came into the rift, I doubt they'd be important enough, and they also forgot to buff the damage scaling for turrets, tanks shouldn't be able to stay under turrets for ever even if they have a soraka up their butt.
[zombie-nunu-bummed]
Inb4 Nexus Blitz games start lasting longer than Summoner's Rift [sg-miss-fortune]
Aka still useless
