Please don't waste my time

Ok, I understand that because it's a new season you are dropping everyone a full tier.

But my problem is that after playing 10 games for placements I was placed in bronze 5. Which is expected, it's about 1 tier below where I was, and I only won 7 out of 10 of my games.

But if you were planning, in all likelihood, of placing me in the lowest tier anyway, why not just put me there so those 7 wins counted for something instead of making me think I had a shot at something higher and then giving me 0 lp for my efforts. I would have much rather just said 'Screw it' and started at 0 than waste my time with placements and then be put at 0 Lp after. Or at lease give me a few LP to let me know you noticed I played a game.

Nothing is more frustrating than not only being told you have to start at the bottom, but every effort you made to not start there was a waste of time.
