Irelia mid had anyone tried it?
she does exceptionally well there from my experience. Even a heimerdinger has to be cautious, she can dodge skill shots very well with her Q, and poke in return.

Irelia mid is a hard counter to Zed and possibly other melee midlaners. She struggles against long range mages
It can work as a counterpick into some matchups, but picking it blind is basically trolling
