Twenty minutes is not enough time sometimes to know if you're going to lose. I was doing really well, but my team surrendered b/c our adc wasn't doing well. We still could've won!
In short, surrendering at thirty can avoid surrendering prematurely, and can discourage the people who quit easily. I hate it when people want to surrender b/c they think they're doing badly.
FatTaco1 votesI don't agree with this sorry. Yes games don't always end at 20 but right now come backs are hard to make so I've actually been wanting more and more that it should be 15 minutes. 20 is good enough and I don't want it to be higher unless Riot makes come backs more easier.
TheSeltzerBaron1 votesMatchmaking is like drawing straws. Long straw gets a body massage, short straw gets shackled in a dungeon and flogged. Denial isn't just a river in Egypt as they say. Some situations are unwinnable, some teams are bad and some comps are horribly unbalanced. That's called reality. I end up taking a flogging sometimes because you can't avoid it but I'd at least like the option to not be forced to endure it for the sake of someone else's anything-is-possible delusion.
Lukraft1 votesIn ranked it sould stay 20min IMO, but in Normal game should be at 30min or even more. I have played pleeenty of unnecessarily surrendered games in Normal. This available surr button makes that ppl think only about to surrender when one player is playing bad, when one lane is bad not trying to change gameplay at all. Even when playing 4vs5 when we r winning in frags they still surr, becouse there is surr button and one player is afk, not thinking about how to win the match.... Seriously . Was also thinking maybe if there was a choice to decide when surr button should be available. AT 20 or 30 in lobby, before match start. For example at least 4ppl want 30 so surr at 30.
