DFG's Removal Leaves a Niche Empty That No One Talks About

I play Vel'Koz a lot and I usually prefer the Seraph's Embrace over the other early mana items, as it gives me the most benefits later in the game and just build straight ap to try to get as much as I can. The hole that DFG filled for me was a high ap CDR item. Now it feels like when I want to get a CDR item there some aspects of the item that I just don't need, namely mana regen. I'd love another high ap CDR item to be put in.
