Anivia

She's just doing way too much damage. Even when she hasn't bought any damage items besides her doran ring, she is able to do insane amounts of damage with her E. I understand she's supposed to be strong late game, but I think her early game is too strong for such late game power. Comparing her to Azir who has seen many nerfs to his early game because of his strong late game, I think Anivia needs to see some as well.

If you're getting hit by her q and e before six you're doing something wrong. If you are getting close enough where she can burst you after six, you're doing something wrong.

She's supposed to be strong late game.

And here is your mistake. NO Anivia is not a lategame Carry. Sure she's still impressive but her powerspike is in Midgame. In Skirmishes Anivia is amazing. With double Q, double E you can oneshot squishys with ease. But after you've used them, you are a sitting... cryo pheonix.

Anivia is one of these Immobile Mages who are forced to snowball into midgame (either by farm or kills) and than need to end a Game quickly before the enemys build MR and get tankier by Level.

(Anivia is considerd good in Late because she brings a ton of utility and basicly two gamechanging abilities if used perfectly. W-R)

And let's be honest, before Anivia can out-trade anyone pre 6 she needs to hit Q, which is easily dodge- and predictable.

A few questions first:

  1. Which champion did you play?
  2. Do you know how her E works?
  3. Have you ever heard of Diana and LB?

  1. Horrible Range
  2. Terrible base stats
  3. That Q's travel time is terrible, if you're getting hit by it pre-6 or without her using her wall, you're doing something wrong or you're too predictable.
  4. Anivia is a late game utility combo mage, not a carry. If you're having that many problems with her, play someone who can consistently harass her. Karthus Velkoz are great options.

Anivia struggles with mobility and her Q can easily be dodged. She can easily be ganked (especially early game) which can be enough to pop her passive. I think this was exactly riot's goal - to make her slightly difficult, but deal a fckton of damage in return. But anyways, her weaknesses make her easy to counter. So try using champs like Zed or fizz. Maybe you've just been having sht games playing champs that she counters or bad junglers.
