Is "rekt" a reportable offense?

Ive been seeing a LOT of cocky players or just normal players being really bad mannered in games lately. If someone says rekt after you maybe got caught out, or even had a CD down and their ignite killed you, can you report that for a negative attitude? When I see someone saying "Rekt" in all chat its usually implying a toxic mentality like they are 100% a better player and they are just stomping a noob. Which usually is followed by lol or even another rekt lel, by another player.

Depends on the context, I say it sometimes to be ironic (i.e. I am supporting bot and we get dived by 3 people, I hook one of them and get a kill via tower but my marksman and I both die in the process).

And also under the context of playing RekSai , it's most likely meant as humor. "Get Rek('sai)t" Meh. I though it was humorous anyway.

Whether its a reportable offense or not, reporting for BM for the most part accomplishes nothing, do to the automated tribunal system. Aside from the fact he would have to tick off the rest of your team for even a chance at being punished. The reason why the NA League Community is as shitty as it is, is due to the fact that it's not just the douche bags who are at fault. It's the victims. Realize for a moment that LoL is just an online game. You don't know who the person who is harassing you is. And this sad individual gets a rush at pointing out how much 'better' he is because he won a trade. Ignore him, it's probably another sad 12 yr old who has social acceptance issues. If people were to stop taking offense at the slightest provocation, maybe the community as a whole will improve. I'm not saying he's not being a real dick and should learn to shut his mouth, but I am saying find a way to deal with it besides 'QQ, muted, reported'. (Truth is i shouldn't be preaching. Since my method of dealing with morons who try to troll me is to out-troll them, I am not adding in a positive fashion to the NA Community. But it just so happens I am so much better at it than they are and I can't help it :P) Look at other communities. In Korea the worst insult you can do is wait around the nexus killing the players as they spawn. That's standard coarse for our community if your winning by a huge lead XD anyways my point is learn to deal with people who are assholes, it will take you a long way in life.

To say rekt is bad. To say shrekt is even worse. Be cool and creative, use words like, destroyed, obliterated, eviscerated, and demolished. Keep things interesting. Chogath consumed.

I think that's a matter of opinion. My view on it is just to grow thicker skin; there's absolutely no reason to have all chat besides trash talk. I've never seen the big deal about "gg ez" and "rekt" and the like. I don't say them because there's no point, but some people just want to rattle you and make you tilt. It happens in all sports and will continue to happen.

The best course of action is to either turn off all chat or completely destroy the person that said "rekt" and give him a little smiley face in all chat.

Its the same mentality as "gg ez", the community doesnt like it and neither does Riot. I dont get sad/mad about seeing gg ez or rekt, it just makes me go "really dude" id just like a cleaner community so the game is about teamwork and not about how fast you can burst with Zed just so you can say "get rekt" in all chat

It depends on when you say it. I occasionally say it when I die to a four man gank, just to be silly, and that's completely fine. Saying it to belittle an opponent, however, is simply unsportsmanlike.

Then report it as the negative behavior that it is, unless they go overboard into verbal abuse or something, then use that.

In and of itself, I don't think "rekt" is something reportable. However, a lot of the time the people saying this are also saying other stuff, and if they taunt or harass like that most of the game it should be reportable.

Offensive Language is close enough to this kind of behavior to use, but it's not practical to report someone just for a couple of taunting remarks. People can't be expected to act and play like angels, but if they push it and harass excessively, that's a different story.

Riot will say it's reportable because it fits the description of their reports. However, they won't actually do anything about it unless the amount of reports is noticeable I'd imagine.

i dont like it when my other lane feeds the bm person then they roam on me and type rekt when they kill me, if u laned against me and are stomping me, then say it to me. not taunt the rest of my team because i played like shit and gave u a huge advantage

i dont think ive ever seen someone type rekt and not send a bunch of other bm comments throughout the rest of the game though. they are generally toxic players who do bad and need some sort of self confidence boost with their first good game in forever

Anything said in attempts to belittle or harass another player is reportable, usually under Verbal Abuse (depending on intensity) or Negative attitude.
