? I tried the reworked version on ARAM and OOH gawd, it feels weird. Its like in cartoon where a little boy goes on his mech and presses random buttons and blows stuff up accidently, this is that in league.

Those guys only got a partial revert because Riot added something that they ultimately didn't like, because it felt bad.
Aatrox, on the other hand, lacks these clunky delays. He's different, sure, but that's because his core gameplay was too unhealthy to keep.

Current akali is not akali. It is lee sin and Zoe's baby. They killed the original akali.
Its hillarious how little i care for the game now. Vainglory is more fun to me and i have over 100 days played on league of legends, im very invested.

Riot certainly tried their best. They tried way too hard and turned 
into something she isn't. The old akali you go right into someone's face. THEN shroud and wait for cooldowns. Then kill them.
New akali, go in with E. Use Q. Shroud. Try to get your passive off but its too far and the enemy ran away.

Try going in with R, using shroud and 2 q's on a mage/adc, then 2nd part of R with ignite. Gz. You didnt even proc your passive, yet the squishy is dead.
Frosted Tips1 votesNever, reworks are not always just to try to make something a little healthier like the assassin update was which actually made the champions less healthy. Aatrox was reworked because he was not unique and because he was bianary. Aatrox will never be reverted. He is more likely to get reworked again than reverted.

They're going to revert the rework only if it becomes unhealthy/overpowered. Kog'maw for example. Was too overpowered to leave him with 5.0 attack speed, reverted. LB for example, impossible to balance out, well made, but lackluster with the time passive took to proc. Rengar Q, was just unbalancable, and if it's numbers were ok, he would jump on 3 people and one shot all 3, if the numbers were shit, he would be useless. Also insanely fast clear speeds on a ganking assassin -> not good.
So, he's probably gonna end up with Ryze, sadly.
