I love dominating as LB, it's just so sad her wave clear speed is trash.

"Increasing the speed of a projectile so unreliable that it is almost always only used at point blank is completely unacceptable, Leblanc deserves no quality of life buffs ever and if you give her any, no matter how insignificant, it warrants complaints."

If it's used at point blanc (Get it?) range then why bother buffing it at all?

A snare on a burst mage makes things kind of unbearable... If she lands that on you not only can you Q for e's second proc, but if she gets the full snare on you she can delete you with q-w-r or even just a w-r depending on how fed she is.

She doesn't need Quality of Life buffs, the quality of her life is fine as it is.

Her life is actually pretty terrible right now. Simply picking her decreases your chance of winning across all elos.

She can burst any adc. I don't know what the problem is. She wins lane (If she knows how to play the champ and doesn't just wanna do #Lcs plays) and proceeds to burst in an aoe.

She completely nukes any single target with a q w combo.

Also technically I said a problem, that could be good or bad, but I did mean it was a bad problem for everyone else involved.

She can win lane but she can't win the game. In the end winning is all that matter and Leblanc is the opp of that.

Buffing champion that doesn't need when dozens do it's unacceptable.

The buff is so insignificant though. 1600>1750 missile speed doesn't really change how hard it is to dodge or land by much in any context. It's less than 10% faster.

The only thing unreliable about it is the range required to break it when it hits.

When Leblanc has a negative wr across all divisions and tiers but bronzie still complains about her in a boards post.

Hello I am Bird3 votes

Winrate isn't everything.

LeBlanc had a negative winrate when she had her silence, js.

IcyPepper2 votes

Well, to be fair, I've heard that Leblanc has a high skillcap.

And that there are more stats than just winrates.

And champions with high skillcaps are supposed to have lower winrates in solo queue compared to competitive (Azir and Lee Sin being the premiere examples).

Just saiyan.

Hello I am Bird2 votes

Oh god I remember Azir's 36% winrate on release...

She has sooooo much counterplay, like forreal. We'll start off with items you can buy and champions you can play to pretty easily up your chance of beating the hell out of her.

  1. item 3102 item 3155 item 3156 Self explanatory anti-burst items.

  2. Any of these adc: Corki Ezreal Lucian Kindred Quinn Sivir Tristana All of them can very easily use their dashes/blinks to avoid her W. Most LB players max W first for the wave clear and lower cd, so the majority of her damage comes from QW combo early to mid game. Dodge the W and E and she's got nothing to blow her Q or ulted Q's mark. Obviously Sivir doesn't have a blink, but she's got spellshield. I put Quinn on there because a fast Quinn E will interrupt Leblanc's dash. If you interrupt the dash, all of the damage is avoided.

  3. Gonna split the mids into categories.

First up, mobile or heavy cc champions that can again, dodge or disrupt the W damage: Zed Yasuo JarvanIV Fiora Fizz Ahri Annie Cassiopeia Fiddlesticks Syndra Malzahar Lissandra

Next we'll go with champions with enough built in sustain or tankiness to just straight up not care about Leblanc's rather oppressive lane: Ahri Fiddlesticks Karma JarvanIV TahmKench Zac Renekton Galio Malphite Maokai

And finally we'll go with champions that Leblanc will never get into range of: Azir Velkoz Zyra Ziggs Xerath Syndra

Zilean doesn't fit into any of the categories, but he does really well against Leblanc as well.

  1. In lane, buy a ton of health potions. Early on, Leblanc really can't 100-0 you. She can poke you for close to half your health with the QW, but that costs mana and has a long cooldown early on. The health potions will allow you to outsustain her mana pool. There's no mana potions in the game, she'll run out of mana before you run out of health. You can also just dodge or disrupt the W. If you can do that, a massive chunk of her damage is gone as well as her mana. I know it's got a large hit box, but it's also got a relatively short range and is very telegraphed. She'll typically unload on you when you go for a minion. Consider a different approach. Push the lane to her tower, ward accordingly. She's very difficult to gank and good at roaming, so letting her push is a dumb idea. Pushing her to tower forces her to either miss CS or waste mana and cooldowns using W to farm under tower. Easy peasy.

  2. Mid game you should stay behind your CC filled front line if you're a squishy, or focus her with some CC if you're the CC filled front line. Like most mobile mages, she's highly effected by CC. While snared, she can't use her W which means she can't proc her Q without either hitting her E, or using her ulted Q which then can't be proced without hitting the E.

  3. Late game you should have a banshees regardless of who you are and her damage has probably fallen off enough for you to be safe unless she got insanely fed early on. If you followed my tips, this shouldn't be an issue.

There ya go, that's how you beat Leblanc.

Yep you are completely right. But it depends on the skill that the LeBlanc has. She can outplay an Azir or Ahri and with dodging skills champs like Lux, Vel'koz and Xerath should not be any problem. Last game I had a Skarner in the enemy team and he tried to ult me every time he could. That was very smart, but after the first time I played around him (and I had a f***ing rengar in my team). So laning face can be very easy. Difficult are matchups vs Galio and maybe (never had this) Zilean because you do not need much skill to beat a LeBlanc. Also Cho'gath is unkillable (but did not see him since a half year on midlane) and an experienced Diana has a lot of possibilities to outplay LeBlanc with her point and click dash (and cc on her e).

Great. Now LB mains won't be able to defend their champ with arguments such as "High skillcap"

Hardly speeding up ONE ability (or two if you count her mimicked ultimate) is not gonna make a champions skill cap go down lol... No I am not a Leblanc player btw

It will, riot confirm they are giving her back her silence for season 6.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

shes one of the scariest champ in the game. along with fiora. annie. the burst is just too much. she can kill you under the turret in one burst from 100-0

Yma S1 votes

her snare range is too long

It should be nerfed, and she should get extra base stats to compensate

Libbie Higgins1 votes

I'm all for this buff! Now where did they say they were giving her silence back for season 6?

VaporeonKun1 votes

I look forward to the buffs, as an avid lover of LeBranc I can't wait. I'll just play her more, that's all.
