Tahm Kench Bug?

So I was Riven, and laned against a Tahm Kench. One time I tried to trade with him, and he ate me. I tried to E as soon as he spits me out, but somehow he spat me at least 700~800 range and into his tower. Idk if he's allowed to spit champs as far as he can spit minions and stuff, just thought I'd put it out there.
