An Idea to improve the quality of games

Occasionally in a game of League of Legends, I will run into a player who is persistent in pinging over and over, several pings at a time. This can be incredibly annoying, especially when the pings are irrelevant or on targets that do not make any sense to attack at the moment. The problem is that if you are in a game with one of these people on your team, beyond asking them to stop, there is nothing you can do about it. Sometimes asking politely to stop will do the trick, although many times, the player will remain relentless in their pinging.

My proposal is that there would be a "mute pings" icon or something similar near the "mute chat" icon that already exists. An alternative option would be to have one "mute" button to mute both chat and pings. The problem with this, however, would be a situation similar to this: Jungler pings dragon, the whole team goes to dragon, but you didn't receive the ping as a result of the you muting the Jungler due to his profanity and spamming in chat. Because of this, you are late to dragon and unaware of what exactly is going on. In this situation, the Jungler may have had useful pings, but was offensive in chat. This is why I believe having 2 mute buttons, which could be both chat and pings muted, neither muted, or just one muted, would be the best way to solve this problem.

TL;DR: Add a separate mute button for chat and pings.
