It's been a while since you removed boots upgrade entirely from the game. You promissed to think about that later again. So... any news? I'm really missed my sweet Alacrity boots. I used to build them every game since pre-season 3 pach.

First it was homeguard, which they then gave to everyone. Then it was alacrity.
People just keep taking the strong general option over the stronger niche option (only stronger in niche) because the general option is safer.

May be make it more... well. Let's imagine two types of boots: +25 magic resist boots and +30 armor boots. And some upgrades: 1) 30% tenacity 2) 12% aa reduction 3) 10% cdr ability + summoner's spells 4) 35% attack speed 5) mobility boots upgrade 6) aaaand extra 20 flat ms bonus. This is so annoying when you lane against let's say jayce but you need to build mercurial threads cuz they got shitloads of CC. Or against ranged mage but they have aa reliant adc, kindred jungler, varus mid.

CoffeeDave1 votesI think another part of the problem is the cloud drake. Even one of those with the bigger speed boost would be nuts. cloud Drake with Captain upgrade on a support like
