@RIOT I don't like seeing AP Ekko be buffed a ton in order to deter people from playing tank Ekko...

I don't like tank Ekko to begin with, but the buffs after buffs towards AP Ekko is just going to break him when building offensively. I see everyone at Riot is trying to make AP Ekko the meta choice, and they want to get rid of tank Ekko (or at least oppressive Ekko), but tank Ekko requires straight nerfs towards his tankiness and base damage instead of buffs towards its offensive counterpart. I've never really hated Ekko unless he is tanky, please do not continue the buffs towards AP.

Please, stop buffing him in terms of building damage, otherwise Ekko will continue his reign, just in a different build.

They aren't buffs. The slashed his base values a lot and funneled it into his ratios. In the end, it should come out as maybe a mild offensive upgrade if he builds AP, but not at OP levels.

Depending which of his abilities are most important, I would guess that the break even point is around 200 AP. For a good Assassin build, that would be a buff later in the game. The only concern I'd see is his Early game. Would he have significant laning power in the early game to not become useless for his team?

The thing I'm worried about is that AP Ekko has received buffs every time Tank Ekko takes a nerf. I'm fine with it as it is this patch, but any more buffs following this pattern may become worrisome.
