Lee Sin is in every fkn game in Gold Ranked, and nobody bans him
yet he can single handedly carry the game, a good Lee sin is terrifying to deal with at all points in the game, remember to ban this mofo in champ select.

That's why I can't take all the Lee QQer's seriously. "OMFG Lee is so OP!" Then ban him. But they won't. He's apparently so OP that he completely warps the game around him but not OP enough to bother banning him despite the likelihood that the enemy team picks him is extremely high.
A good Lee Sin can be truly terrifying.
Fortunately, you won't really run into them in Gold.
The scary Lee Sin's don't really show up until around Diamond ELO.

Lee Sin is counter able by ensuring your team packs some CC or mobility. I typically bring own CC versus Lee Sin. For example, Ryze has a point and click stun for a closing in Lee Sin. Or pokes from Lux/Morgana. In terms of mobility, champions like Zed or Ahri. I don't disagree with a Lee Sin ban but I would rather use the bans on other champions. Also, kill enemy wards.
