I'll be honest, when I first saw the changes I thought Riot had lost it. But somehow, some way, this year fixed pretty much every issue with matchmaking. Fortnight probably has a little to do with it, but I haven't been queued up with inters and trolls like I have consistently in prior years. Any matches played on a role you don't main don't count against you, and the general climb seems simpler as matched players have been more cooperative and less likely to AFK or DC. I was a little annoyed that the game placed me in Bronze, but it took less than a week to get out... a feat that would have taken at least a month in prior years due to constant 4v5 or 3v5 matches. Whatever magic is holding this in place, I'd like it to stick around.

Anyone else notice this?
