A Couple Mage Item Ideas
Hey, it's me, irrelevant silver scrub number 85927423
I got a couple of ideas that I wanted to share. (Numbers subject to change)
The first one is a way to bring an item similar to Netherstride Grimoire into the game. The reason it isn't in the game is because having both that and
would be waaaaaay too annoying and probably also OP. So, a (relatively) recent addition showed me the solution: This
.
Flamestrider Grimoire
Builds out of:
+
+ 900G
+75AP
+300 Mana
Unique Passive- Arcane Power: 20% CDR, Restores 15% missing mana on kill/assist Over 3 seconds. (Morello's. would have its CDR and restore passive combined/changed into this so they don't stack.)
Unique Passive: Flaming Feet - Hitting a champion with an ability gives 20% movement speed for 2 seconds. Cannot coexist with Ice. (Ice would be Rylai's passive. Might also need to consider IBG and Mallet to be Ice, but that could be less of a problem)
Not really sure what the other stats should be, exactly, but After giving the thought more... thought, I decided on some more specific stats. I thought it could be an alternative to Morello's that gives less raw stats in exchange for the movement speed. This also solves the problem of having both passives on at once, because buying both results in a lot of wasted stats. Rylai's would probably be used more on support mages instead (this makes sense to me because Rylai is a support in DoTA2). Could be mostly an alternative to Morello's, but might need weaker stats on something or it'll just become Morellonomicon 2: The Movie (edited)
Next, an AP/Armor item that might be situationally better than Zhonya's. and acts kinda like Banshee's
Millenium Shield (Different name needed, of course)
Builds:
+
+ 765G?
+70 AP
+45 armor
Unique passive: Gain a barrier(not like Janna shield, more like Sej passive) that grants 10(+ 35%AP) Armor that lasts for 1.25 seconds after taking damage from champions or epic monsters. Regenerates after 40(?) seconds of not taking damage.
This is meant to protect Mages from AD poke damage and non-delayed burst. Also, putting an AP ratio on the passive barrier is meant to prevent tanks and stuff from (ab)using it, just in case.
That's it, please leave thoughts.
EDIT: Made some stuff on the book more specific
