He never was, and he never will be unless they re-rework him. Yeah, he has some neat tricks and he can do big damage if he gets fed, I understand that.
But you will never, ever, be in a situation where you think to yourself 'I sure and glad my teammate picked GP top instead of Shen, Maokai, Cho'Gath, or any other big CC tank.'
Sp33d Zer02 votesIf you are mad because they picked a low CC champ over a hard cc champ, you must also hate having nunus, nasus, soroka, and a plethora of other champions on your team. All of those champions are good in their own right, and so is GP. The issue isn't him not having 4 CCs like nautilus, it's Ghos for wanting every champ to a cc bot.
