Men are more valued in society based on status, wealth and power - especially by women. Look at Trump, he's not conventionally attractive but even he apparently has groupies just throwing themselves over him, allowing themselves to be grabbed by various body parts. Men in positions of power are generally considered attractive to women, whereas women in positions of power are not nearly as universally considered attractive by men.
