le sigh riot, make lux's ult COUNT AS A GOD DAMN CHANNEL here's the situation: last game, we were losing by a lot, i had managed to get lux low, i managed to get over the wall hen she hit the blast cone, i was low af, i ept hooking her and Eing her as thresh, my shield made me scrape by, i zhonya'sd and all that fun stuff, and on the moment when i was about to outplay her... she ults me... oh no, but i hook her while she's mid ult. she gets pulled, but her ult.. it doesn't stop, and it kills me............. im salty af. please make her ult count as a channel

You know thresh's hook has a long cast time. That's like me getting Darius pulled while I'm casting my E as Illaoi and complaining I couldn't move.

Honestly I think it should. I had never thought of this.

Lux shouldnt be able to barf up her combo onto people before she dies who are able to get to her and lock her down.

Her just pressing R does like 1.5K dmg, if she casts her Q she could kill a squishy or take 3/4 of a Tank's HP.

A clear window of weakness, along with her Q CD, which means she has to play safer, as an artillery mage should. Xerath can't just barf up a bunch of shit for 2k dmg in half a second, because once you get in his face he's fucked. Should be the same for all artillery champions.

To be fair, that's the teams fault man. I get that you're pissed, and you're right to be. But you can't change Lux's ult because the team didn't show up.

eh, they were busy fighting and i knew the shutdown gold would help, i could've stayed with my team, but i mean, lux's ult acts like a channel, why not make it one?

I feel like it has some load time, but otherwise it's just an explosion. Vel'koz on the other hand...that brother channels.

I'm pretty sure it's a cast time and not a channel to avoid situations like that It shouldn't get cancelled

those are DOT abilities, not charge ups

Darius' Q is absolutely not a dot. It has a very clear wind-up before the axe spin.

Also, Katarina's ult is a DOT, but it's also an interruptible channel. So why not Garen or Wukong?

Because those champions are meant to go in close quarters, while Lux is not.
