New Poppy may be a little too strong.

With just a Warrior enchant and a Black Cleaver, I'm near one shotting squishies with EQ > Auto attack.

Poppy nearly one-shotting soft targets with EQ isn't exactly anything new.

Well you had to position your E to stun them right?

Even without the stun part, I have my Q dealing around 600 damage level 9 and that seems a little overboard

They have usually can escape the Q area.

right click out of the way if she didnt stun you.

I'm not surprised in the slightest. Usually they make them somewhat overpowered on release and then they nerf them down a bit. Still..........I'm very happy for Poppy mains because they finally got what they want. Now we have a bully for Illaoi which will be fun to watch.

  1. if she misses the E stun, landing her follow up Q damage is tough. So position is how to counterplay her.

  2. she has to be close to use her Q. outside of her E stun, the way she can use this is by walking up to someone. as a squishie, when poppy walks up to you, move back.

  3. squishies are supposed to get eaten up by bruisers and poppy is a bruiser.

Building AD on her seems bad because of how poor her scaling is.

Building AD on her seems bad because of how poor her scaling is.

3.2 total AD scaling isn't terrible and her base is fairly solid. No reason not to grab Cleaver on her to soften up the front-line for her team.
