Zed advanced tips

So how do you team fight as Zed?

If the enemy team is clustered together, there is no room for you to Ult in without getting instantly deleted. If you wait for the fight to start first and then to flank... what is the best initiation combo?

If you go W and then R... you don't have a lot of spells left to of anything more... Is it better to do W, launch a few abilities with the shadow... then switch into it before clicking R?

Also... is it WORTH poking with WEQ out of lane? Because if you do it, your spells could be down they do have an opening (and its also kind of hard to hit if the enemy's not distracted). Is it in general better to hold on to all of your abilities until you can run in and burst?

Also... once your Ultimate gets Zhonyas you'll have to rely on autos to kill?

so like... what is the best initiation combo for Zed in a situation where he's a BIT worried about skill shot crowd-control weapons from the ennemy?

If there's a stand off between teams, I wait for initiation from either team to go in. I Youmouu's towards my target because I like to save my W to escape or to follow up. I am pretty careful when it comes to saving my abilities, but since I like to rush 45% cdr on Zed, spamming his combo for poke is fine I think. Just keep an eye on your energy.

Best initiation combo, I believe, is WE, land an auto if you are near enough, REQ auto.

You don't waste your Q until you ult because the cd is too long to cast it a second time whilst having 2 shadows up from both W and R.

E on the other hand has a shorter cd and allows you to cast it a second time just before W's shadow disapears.

Don't take my word for it though, you are better off looking at pro builds online or tutorials.

For teamfights, alot of the times, assassins tend to be too obvious. Its not a rule to show up to a teamfight from where your whole squad is.

''The unseen blade is the deadliest'' = Pretty much what you should think like as any assassin. If a team fight is about to happen, the best thing to do is target the squishy targets, and if that squishy target has zhonyas, he is a no-go. Ideally, Zed should always go for the ADC, but then again, if its obvious he is going to all in, its easy for the enemy team to simply CC him to death. So try coming in from different angles. Use scanner as trinket to make sure you go unseen, and wait for your team to iniate so that the enemy team gets distracted while you all in the adc.
