Anyone who wants more EXP on supports
Can go play top/mid/jungle. Want higher base damage/shields/stats? Top/mid/jungle, sometimes even ADC, are your friends.

They should get more XP and gold bonuses imo. If a role is STRICTLY DENIED their own ability to CS then they should at least be allowed to be on par with their ADC in terms of gold. Whether based off per minute or per last hit while in range there is absolutely no reason why anyone should expect a member of the team to have 1/3rd of the income. There's a reason why support is the least played and constantly the fill role.
Why would anyone CS if you can just be a support and do nothing for the same result?
that is a reasonable thought.
let me introduce to you the problem league is currently facing:
This creates the following negative impact:
Please input solutions.
EDIT:
If there were enough people who liked healing and shielding and warding and protecting carries, "if you don't like it go do some other role" would have been a perfect solution; Because IN THEORY we have a bunch of different roles, can pick what you like and have fun.
In practice though you the Jungle player need someone else to go play support. And since the group of people who like the stuff you hate is all used up already, the additional people need to come from a group of people who like the same stuff that you like.
So your alternative is to remove the support role entirely and turn them into full on bruisers and carries?
Do I even need to explain why...
And to top it all off, supports scale extremely badly with EXP unless they're lane bullies that should work for their lead instead of getting it for free.
Your argument would work if roles were as binary as you're implying. But there are a myriad of champions you can play in any lane and no one is ever happy about it.
__1. No. My overall argument is that supports have good "champion diversity" (defend the carry with sona VS defend the carry with blitz) but poor "role diversity" (defend the carry with Tham VS counter-jungle with Tahm).
Lacking role diversity, coupled with some of the tasks the the current support role is **expected **to do being undesirable to a large part of the community (especially you jungle players, "I do not want to be a second support" is your line) is one reason the support lane has less players signing up for it than other roles.
__1.5. Also, Tahm is a viable support. Trundle is a viable support, MF is apparently a viable support, Zyra and Brand will apparently out-damage the mid lane... "turning them all into bruisers and carries" is already happened.
__2. I am not against your point of view. I think it is reasonable and I do not get why you are being down voted so much. However it is clear that there is a problem right now in the game that has to do with the support role.
What I've tried to do with my post is to show you what the problem actually is and why it is a problem. Your idea, while it is by itself REASONABLE, does not address the core "support problem" that the game as a whole is currently experiencing.
__3. What actually happened is that too many people have adopted your approach: "dont like support? queue differently". Now we ended up with long queues and no supporters and people raging at "auto-fill" every day.
So maybe it is time to re-think this approach, because it does not interact in any way with a big problem that the game is currently experiencing.

That will never happen. If a role can counterjungle without CS why wouldn't the roles with CS do it more? Just look at what
did.

I almost exclusively support when I play ranked. I just suck at jungle and top, so I wanted to practice them.

Yes. But if they don't get a lead early, they fall off. You want to give them that lead for free.

I was a being a snarky swearword, it's my fault really.

And I appreciate that but my point stands. Supports generally don't scale well with levels and giving them EXP would either be pointless or encourage kill lanes and Zyra - MF.

Again, I have my doubts that this lack of EXP is any reason. The only EXP a traditional support needs is lv 9, which is a reasonable milestone, especially considering how long the laning phase can drag on in soloQ. So unless they were extremely horrible support players who lost lane hard before they hit 6 and couldn't play the rotation game, it was not the reason they stopped playing it.
The reason why support is unpopular is because, unless you choose to go AP and snowball (or maybe abuse double CoC while it's OP), you are there to enable your team. (Which I might add is arguably more healthy and fun to have 2 carries come out of bot lane, that sounds feast or famine) And since nobody likes looking for someone other than them to carry, much less acknowledge that (their) solocarrying a game is impossible, support is unpopular.
Saying supports scale poorly with xp might be one of the dumber comments I've ever read.
Level advantage is huge on any champ. End of story.
There is zero reason why a role should be deprived both gold and xp compared to others.
God forbid supports actually have the ability to outplay other roles or be more versatile than just a vision/cc bot .
Support should just be called flex. And you pick a champ that fits your teams strat.
That's like saying it'd be advantageous to have more base AD on mages. Yes but.
There is a reason. Play 4v4 SR. It's boring. They intentionally made it so resources are divided unevenly to make sure that either one or 2 roles would be less dependent on CS.
