Yes, Lee Sin is over 50% win rate. No, he's not OP, and no, he doesn't needs nerfs.

Begging the boards to not start freaking out just because Lee is FINALLY over a 50% win rate, he's finally in a good spot and doesn't need to be touched

Yes, high skill cap champions should have high play rate and high win rate.

"high winrate"

"logic"

EDIT: For example, a high skill cap / mechanically intense champion, above 50% win rate is high. Because they should be difficult and mastered to do well, and if they have a high play rate AND succeed more often than not... That's a high win rate and a sign that the champion is probably not in the best of spots.

I don't know, maybe because the average lee sin has more mastery points than the average Aatrox? Look at the games # for the playerbase when you quote OPgg winrates.

Well, that's not entirely the point. If a mechanically intense champion is starting to be 30% - 40% pick rate depending at which site you look while maintaining a positive % win rate across all of them, that champion is probably a little too strong and especially is crowding out other picks. Lee Sin was in a fine spot before this patch even at ~ 50% win rate. Especially when he sees no changes to himself personally, and then all of a sudden jumps 5 or 6% with the play rate and champion mastery remaining the same.

On the other hand, winrates alone don't mean too much, but with playrates and pickrates from worlds, yeah, he's prolly OP.

I just noticed after responding, that the play rates for champions on op.gg are from 2014-2015. Probably not very representative still.

ah well, last time I checked, unless i'm seeing things, he had a 65% playrate o_o

For a supposedly high skill champion yes, more than 50% win rate with 30% + pick rate is too damn high.

Lee main detected.

Winrates don't mean everything, but seriously, lee sin had a pickrate of over 45% in worlds this year.

he has 35% pickrate. for a REALLY hard champion. hes op.

Ulquiorra9954 votes

He has over 50% winrate... with over 30% pickrate to boot. Which on a high skill champion definitely means that he is overperforming.

I don't think he needs a nerf, but goddamn he is fucking annoying.

DoktorKaiser1 votes

He puts more pressure early game than any champion in the entire game and can 1v1 almost every single jungler and doesnt fall off nearly as much as needed late game to compensate for this because of his extreme mobility and retarded base dmg ulti. He needs nerfs, he was fine before buff for World$ to make LC$ big Play$ (which he did by being the strongest jungler in the competition)
