I just fought a match against darius level 1 my q did 0 DAMAGE to him Not lying So the only form of poke i decided hmm since i cant poke him cant trade with him why go all in so i go in on darius not getting hit by his swings HE STILL WINS with half hp left so then I farm under tower he grabs me combos me im at 700 hp HE WALKS INTO MY TOWER AGGRO KILLS ME AND WALKS AWAY

Really though, I think you should realize that bone plating has a 45 second cooldown. That's long enough to proc boneplate once, back off, then Q another 2 times. I think you'll be fine.
